American Victorian Oval Rattan-Wicker and Wood TableLate 19th Early 20th Century This table is a stunning example of the manifest quality workmanship Heywood-Wakefield, the 'titans' in the wicker industry, brought to bear in crafting early wicker furniture. The rattan designs are tightly woven to perfection, all still intact with no holes or weak areas in the weave. The table is in extra nice condition--still incredibly strong and sturdy with no wobbly legs or other problem areas. It has some paint chips-mostly the legs show old paint. We have not used, altered, or painted the table since inheriting it around 1972-1974.
