Victorian Oak Table Cast Iron & Glass Furniture Feet Victorian Face Swirl Legs
As part of my work I discovered this beautiful antique table. I offered a fair price for it and bought it. The table is made of beautiful aged oak wood. I always knew it would be an outstanding unusual and beautiful conversation piece. After I owed it I realized that it does not fit properly into the furniture “theme” in my home. With easy cleanup and proper placing this table could be used without refinishing. I am offering it in the condition that I purchased it in because many people prefer seeing the original “look” of an antique. Please look at my photos carefully to see the condition. The table legs are footed with Cast Iron and Round Ball Glass Feet. The Cast Iron portion of the Feet have a Victorian Face on them. (see photos). I think that these are probably from the Mid-1800’s to early 1900’s but I could be wrong. I believe that Spiral Legs were first introduced to England in the mid-1660’s to the early 1700’s. I am not certain how old these particular legs are. The approximate sizes of the table are: Top: Height 30 in – Length 27.75 in - Width 27.5 in Bottom Shelf: Height 12.5 in – Length 21 in - Width 21 in Bottom Measurement: Length 29 in - Width 28.5 in Please look at the photos to see the condition.
