Offered for sale this unique and beatu[iful,Large French Center Table ,19th Century- hand carved-beveled glass top. Table consists of : 1. A large wooden frame, Supported by 3 hand carved Caryatids with a round frame top (56" diameter) , Into which is placed a piece of 1/2 " beveled glass measuring 55' in diameter. 2. The table is 30" high . 3. The Finish : appears to be a combination of fine wood grain and patination (paint) or simply old varnish . 4. Marks , none found 5. Condition ; Excellent with a few small paint chips. Discovered in an old Catholic Church Basement ...No one knew how long it had been there. Additional : Must be picked up in Edgewater NJ . Or arrange your own shipping. Requires 2 People to carry the Glass.The frame is lighter weight. The beveled glass top is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or scratches.
