Antique Mahogany And Marble Top Table
This really wonderful mahogany table came from a local estate here in Texas. I am not sure of it’s exact age but I am sure it is from the 1800’s or early 1900’s likely circa 1880. It is unusual in construction as the bolts and nuts are wood as shown. I have replaced one nut with a modern metal one as one was missing. I have never seen another with wooden nuts and bolts. It stands about 29 1/2 inches tall, the white marble top measures about 25 3/4 inches wide by 19 inches. I have cleaned and polished the table and the marble but no more. The finish is original.
