1950s Kindel Italian Provincial Dining Table
1950s Kindel Italian Provincial 42” Round Drop Leaf Dining Table. The 1950s Kindel Italian Provincial Dining Room table is an authentic Kindel 42 in. round drop leaf table. The table was part of Kindel’s Bardini Collection. The stunning antique table includes the original table protectors, center leg for extra support when extended, and four 12” in. leaves, which extends the table to 90 in. long. The table is made of cherry wood and has the Belvedere finish. The finish as described by Kindel is a light brown walnut. In aging, the finish is said to change less in color unlike Kindel’s Fruitwood and Chateau finishes. According to Kindel, the clear finish is hand applied to the table and is worked into the wood as opposed to laid on like a surface film. The technique offers more character and much more durability than lower quality furniture.
