Antique Solid Wood Drafting Table – with Drawer – GREAT USEFUL OLD TABLE – GDC
Offered here is this Antique Solid Wood Drafting Table. It is in good condition but does have a lot of surface scratches to the finish from general use over many decades. There is also a corner at the back of the desk where there is a small piece of wood that has been broken off. This can be seen in the last two photos. This area is on the back of the desk, and would not be visible unless you are standing behind the desk. It does not affect the structural integrity of the desk. I am unsure of the actual age or origins of the table. It has a single large drawer in the front and raised sides on the other three sides. The drawer has a simple nailed rabbit joint. The table is 35” tall at the raised sides, 31” tall at the writing surface, 54” wide across the writing surface, 42” deep at the writing surface, 43.5” deep total. It is a nice antique drafting table that would make a great craft table, or many other could be useful in virtually any room with any décor. It is a nice antique table.
