Chippendale Double Pedestal Ball & Claw Mahogany Dining Table. Vintage
Chippendale Dining Table estimated from around the 1920s - 1940s This is a Chippendale style, ball and claw, double pedestal, dining table measuring 64” x 42.” It is a Chippendale inspired dining table featuring a 4.4” apron edging with especially beautiful veneer surrounding the apron. The top has ordinary veneer with time worn areas of use. This could be removed if you do not care for the antique look! The pedestals are carved solid mahogany featuring 3 legs on each pedestal with ball and claw feet. The legs & feet are carved. The apron allows chairs to slide fully under the table when they are not in use. I refinished the table with oil stain and hand rubbed with steel wool & pumas powder. The table accepts a leaf but I have not located it. I purchased this about 40 years ago and am not sure where the leaf is! If located, it will be added at no higher cost. Can only be picked up on Friday, Saturday, or Sundays!!!
