This rare and beautiful Victorian Empire Marble Top Center Table weighs approximately 85 pounds and measures 29 5/8” in height, 32 3/8” in width, and 32 3/8” in depth. It has lovely details and has flame mahogany detailing around the top of the table, and sits on brass castors for ease of movement! The original white marble top has rich robust gray veining and is in overall excellent condition and sits upon a beautiful flame mahogany base. This beautiful base is adorned with flame mahogany banding all around as well as ribbon moulding that sits above regal Gothic scalloped edging. Next, four elegant cabriole legs are joined together with a very fancy pierced stretcher that is graced with a very substantial turned center finial configuration. Finally, brass castors on the feet provide ease of movement. You will note that there have been some old repairs made to the base over the years, as one might expect, none of which detract from its beauty or utility.
