HIGHLY COLLECTABLE CIRCA 1910 SYRIAN DAMASCUS INLAID BACKGAMMON CARD TABLE
Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this very rare and highly collectable circa 1910 Syrian Damascus top to bottom inlaid card and backgammon table. This is one of if not the most decorative table I have come across, with any of the three tops in place it is easily the best looking piece of furniture in any home. As you can see you have the normal top, then a velour lined card table, then a backgammon table, the top that’s removed and hangs over the side looks to be a chess table but I’m not sure how it is supposed to sit. We have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there doesn’t seem to be any losses or issues, there will be of course normal patina marks from age and use but honestly this is a very fine example indeed.
