This is a truly amazing Piece! An Empire flame mahogany sofa table with an ebonized carved column form standard, surmounted on a mahogany plinth, resting on four splayed legs with bronze mounts and capped feet with casters. The table is accentuated by a contrasting neo-classical medallion on the frieze drawer. Dimensions:37" x 30 3/4" x 30 3/4" H (with flaps down)53 3/4" x 30 3/4" x 30 3/4" H (fully open, flaps up) Condition is very good overall, It has had some repairs : repair/restoration to legs, full length indent vertical (front to back), checking (fine split), minor nics and scratches consistent with age and use.
