Circa early 1800s Neoclassical CANTERBURY stand, music stand, magazine rack, - probably Duncan Phyfe, NYC, New York, - mahogany, - unusual silhouette baluster gallery, - cutout handle and dividers, - drawer in base, - well-turned legs, - brass taper cup casters, - original brass repousse drawer pulls, - flame mahogany drawer front on solid mahogany, - mahogany and popular drawer construction, - fine dovetails, - original untouched finish and surface, no repairs. 20” long, 14” wide, 21.5” tall. Condition – excellent, untouched original surface, solid, nominal nicks, scratches, no repairs. 2123 - This is likely by Duncan Phyfe or other very high-quality NYC cabinetmaker.
