Mid-Century Maple Doughboy Table
Vintage MAPLE DOUGH BOX Table with lid.Refurbished all solid maple wood (not veneer) 22" x 17", 22" Height. Produced late 1950's/early sixties as a storage end/lamp table with inscription under bottom "Colonial Furniture, Baumritter". I restored it using walnut oil stain on table top and legs, with the body a whitewashed oil stain. Entire exterior of table is protected with a satin-sheen, three layer urethane. The hardware, including the interior strap, appears to be original. I used spar varnish on the metal hinges. An original "before" photo is included.
