Beautiful classic design, simple and elegant turned twin bases of solid mahogany with triple feet. Each leg attaches to the central support with a heavy metal bracket. Adjustable taps on all the feet. The top has a beautifully figured flame mahogany veneer over a heavy oak base. A mahogany reeded edge finishes the look. There are locks on the underside to secure the two top surfaces together, and the leaf has them as well. Maitland-Smith label on the underside.This table retails for $18,000 new. In exceptional condition. The base is excellent plus and without any issues. Structurally solid and without repairs. The top has two minor scratches - please see photos, it is a small area. There is also a minor issue with one of the corners. It looks as if it hit something when being moved, but very minor. I've photographed it with a very bright light so you can see exactly what it is, the picture looks much worse than it actually is. You have to get down and look and an angle to see it. It's something that could be repaired, or you could use as is, and no one would ever notice. I've tried to give you a visual "worst case scenario" photograph. Otherwise little to no wear, exceptional condition. Retail on this table is $20,000 Plus. The pedestals will be removed for shipping, as shown in pic. An adjustable wrench is all that is needed to reassemble. Measurements: Top measures 74" X 44" & 30" tall. Leaf measures 18.5" x 44". When the leaf is inserted, the table measures 92 1/2" long.
