Vintage MCM Florence Knoll Square Table Silver/Brown 1950s/60s Elegant & Sleek!
Here is a lovely midcentury modern office table from Knoll that was probably made sometime in the 1950s/early 60s. I say this because the Knoll sticker is one of their older designs. There is also a partial IBM sticker on one of the legs and I know they were big purchasers of Knoll office furniture in the 1950s/60s. The table is 27" square which is the bigger size for this table as they usually came in 24" format. Florence Knoll was of course a pioneer and heavyweight in the world of midcentury design and I can only imagine how many tables knocked off this design over the years. I believe it is made of solid steel with a chrome base and floating walnut laminate top. It is very heavy for a table that appears to be so light and airy. I will list the table as local pickup only but will be more than happy to facilitate shipping through someone like uShip. It's an iconic piece of American midcentury design by one of our greatest designers of all time. Thanks for looking.
