Vintange McGuire End Table White Laminate Top Yellow Base Great Sunroom Piece!
Here is a very cool MCM piece from the McGuire Furniture Co. which was started in 1948 by a husband and wife team of artists and designers in San Francisco. The aesthetic for the company was always one of organic modern furniture with the warm and relaxed feel of California design. This two tier table is a great size of 30" by 30" with a white laminate/formica top and a yellow rattan base. It would be ideal for a sunroom/veranda type setting as it has an outdoor feel while still retaining its chic midcentury relaxed look. The table is structurally very sound but it does have some vintage wear and tear as mentioned above. At some point in its history McGuire merged with the Baker Furniture Company to combine two very high-end American furniture companies in the same place. Hopefully it will be a marriage that will last a very long time. Thanks for looking.
